Behind The Book

For several years, the Harvard Kennedy School library produced a video series called “Virtual Book Tour” that featured a brief, simple on-camera interview with HKS faculty about their most recent books. The library staff decided they wanted to refresh and rebrand the series, so they approached my colleagues and I in the Office of Communications and Public Affairs at the Kennedy School. I worked with one of our graphic designers, Rachel Harris, and with the project lead and host, Alessandra Seiter, to come up with a more sophisticated, modern and polished look and storytelling approach. The series was retitled “Behind The Book,” and two episodes, featuring HKS faculty members Joseph Nye and Ronald Ferguson, can be seen below.

Do Morals Matter? | Behind The Book featuring Joseph Nye

Joseph Nye is one of the most respected voices in International Relations. In his new book “Do Morals Matter?” he examines the moral legacies of modern presidents starting with Roosevelt, and tries to determine what role morality should play in foreign policy decisions.
